CT-3268 Current Analog Input Module 8AI

The CT-3268 8-channel current analog input module by ODOT Automation is a high-precision, bipolar acquisition solution engineered for advanced industrial measurement and control applications. It directly addresses global engineering challenges in bidirectional current signal handling, high-density I/O integration, and inadequate surge protection.

Supporting 8 independent channels, the module can be configured for 0–20mA, –20–0mA, or ±20mA input ranges—enabling full-scale acquisition of bipolar sensor signals such as those from torque transducers, bidirectional flow meters, or position feedback devices. With 15-bit single-ended bipolar resolution, it accurately captures even subtle signal variations.

The module accepts 2-wire active current-output sensors (requiring external loop power) and connects directly to standard industrial transmitters. Critical reliability features include magnetic insulation between the internal backplane bus and field inputs—providing complete galvanic isolation to eliminate ground loops and suppress noise—as well as TVS overvoltage protection on every channel to guard against lightning, switching transients, and power surges.
