Module features

In small-to-midsize automation systems, users often face added cost and complexity due to I/O modules that support only one wiring type (sourcing or sinking), lack sensor compatibility, or require external counters.

The CT-623F 8DI/8DO Digital I/O Module from Sichuan Odot Automation solves these challenges with exceptional integration and flexibility. It features 8 configurable digital inputs supporting both sourcing and sinking modes (0V/24VDC), compatible with dry contacts, active outputs, and 2-/3-wire digital sensors—plus 8 sourcing-type 24VDC outputs (high-level active) to directly drive relays, solenoid valves, and indicators.

Critically, each input channel includes an independent 32-bit counter (<200 Hz) with user-defined counting mode, direction, input filtering, and byte transfer order—enabling precise event counting, speed monitoring, or pulse tracking without extra hardware. Signal hold time is configurable to reject transient noise, and all I/O channels use optocoupler isolation for robust noise immunity. Output channels feature short-circuit, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protection. Sixteen LED indicators provide real-time status visibility for rapid commissioning.

As a compact, multifunctional I/O node in the ODOT open automation platform, the CT-623F reduces system footprint, lowers total cost of ownership, and accelerates deployment in packaging machines, mini production lines, smart logistics, and equipment condition monitoring.
