CT-5721 Fieldbus Extended Slave Module

The CT-5721 Fieldbus Extended Slave Module by ODOT Automation is a passive, hardware-based bus extender designed to reliably extend the physical reach and node capacity of industrial fieldbus networks—such as PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, or other RS-485/422-based protocols.

Functioning purely as a signal repeater, the CT-5721 carries no process data and requires no configuration parameters or software setup, enabling true plug-and-play deployment.

It regenerates and reshapes bus signals to overcome attenuation, reflections, and electrical noise over long cable runs—ensuring robust communication in large-scale production lines, distributed I/O systems, or spatially dispersed installations. With a compact DIN-rail form factor, it integrates seamlessly into existing control cabinets without consuming PLC I/O addresses or system slots.

Successfully deployed in European automotive welding cells, North American water treatment pump stations, and Southeast Asian smart logistics conveyors, the CT-5721 significantly simplifies wiring architecture and reduces communication failures.
