Temperature IO Module

The Temperature IO Module is an essential high-precision data acquisition unit in modern industrial process control, equipment health monitoring, and energy management—engineered specifically to reliably interface with a wide range of Industrial Temperature Sensors, including thermocouples, RTDs, analog temperature transmitters, and digital probes. 

As the hardware cornerstone of our ODOT Temperature Solutions, it delivers millisecond-level sampling and ultra-high accuracy of ±0.1% F.S., enhanced by per-channel cold junction compensation (CJC), advanced linearization algorithms, noise rejection, and self-diagnostics—ensuring stable, trustworthy temperature data even under harsh conditions like strong EMI, wide ambient swings, or long cable runs.

 Built to High-Quality Temperature Modules standards, the series features independent 24-bit Σ-Δ ADCs per channel, up to 3000V channel-to-channel isolation, configurable filtering, and real-time open/short-circuit detection. It supports major Industrial Protocols—including PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, and CANopen—for seamless integration into Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, and other leading PLC ecosystems, offering a true “plug-and-play, precision-reliable” engineering experience. With compact DIN-rail mounting, LED status indicators, IP20 protection, and wide operating temperature (-25°C to +70°C), the modules are certified to CE, UL, and IEC 61000 EMC standards—guaranteeing long-term reliability in demanding environments.

 As a key node in ODOT Remote Monitoring architectures, advanced models integrate edge intelligence: local alarm triggering on threshold breach, trend buffering, OPC UA publishing, direct MQTT connectivity to cloud platforms, and even embedded web servers for browser-based access to real-time graphs and historical logs—enabling basic monitoring without SCADA dependency.

 Typical applications span industries: in pharmaceutical reactors, PT100 modules monitor reaction temperature at 0.1°C accuracy for GMP compliance; in steel mills, K-type thermocouple modules withstand extreme heat to provide closed-loop furnace control; in cold-chain logistics, distributed I/O stations upload multi-point trailer temperatures via 4G gateways for end-to-end traceability; in data centers, modules continuously track server rack hotspots to optimize cooling efficiency.
