A:The CT-2218 provides 8-channel NPN-type digital outputs with a 0VDC (low-level active) signal. It is designed to directly drive common field devices such as relays, solenoid valves, indicator lights, and other 24VDC NPN-compatible loads.  
Q:Does the CT-2218 offer electrical isolation and protection features?  
A:Yes. The module uses optocoupler isolation between the internal system bus and field outputs to prevent noise and voltage surges from affecting the controller.
