PROFINET Adapter

The PROFINET Adapter is a cornerstone of efficient Industrial Connectivity and flexible system integration—especially critical when seamlessly connecting non-native PROFINET devices into the Siemens-led industrial Ethernet ecosystem. 

Functioning as a high-performance Remote IO Coupler, it acts not only as a protocol gateway but also as an integrated IO Coupler that aggregates distributed field signals (digital/analog I/O, temperature, encoders, etc.) and transmits them in real time to a PROFINET controller (e.g., S7-1200/1500 PLC), enabling highly responsive and deterministic automation networks.

Our PROFINET Adapter series is engineered for harsh industrial environments, compliant with PROFINET IO Class A/B standards, supporting Real-Time (RT) communication with typical cycle times as low as 1–10 ms—ensuring time-critical data like emergency stops, servo feedback, or high-speed counts are delivered without delay. Built on a modular architecture, the adapter connects to the PROFINET network via a standard industrial RJ45 port on the master side, while offering expandable local I/O slots or integrated multi-channel DI/DO/AI/AO on the field side. Features like hot-swapping, auto-topology detection, and LED diagnostics dramatically simplify commissioning and maintenance.
